Federal Government has been charged to work in synergy with the private sector to improve humanitarian services across the country.
This, they say will aid to eradicate poverty in Nigeria.
Director General of the Nigerian Senior Citizens Commission, Emem Omokaro, gave the charge in Abuja on Wednesday.
Omokaro stressed the need for more involvement through voluntary, advocacy donations and awareness for humanitarian services.
She urged Nigerians to be the voices that advocate for justice, offer support, and work with the heart that extends kindness.

Other stakeholders speaking at the function urged well-meaning Nigerians to cooperate with the Government in eradicating poverty and also provide humanitarian aid to people that are of need.
